tract: As a new type of biological odors control technology, biological filter bed has been developed at a great speed in its application. The working principle, basic process characteristic, affecting factors, its application status and its disadvantages of the bio-filter bed were introduced in this paper. It is hoped to provide basis for the future research and process design of odor control in other municipal sewage treatment plant.
Key words: odor, bio-filter bed, municipal sewage treatment plant
